Iraq War Anniversary Vigil in FL

This is where I'll be at this week.
Silence and inactivity is failure and you must come out, Venus Hammack

Iraq War Anniversary Vigil on Monday
Can you make it?
Host: Jacqueline M.—fellow MoveOn member
Where: White Street Pier (in Key West)
When: Monday, Mar 19 2007, 6:00 PM

Yes, I'll come.

So sorry, I can't make it this time.
We're gathering this Monday night in conjunction with 1,000+
vigils across the country to commemorate and reflect on the
fourth anniversary of the war in Iraq. While Congress debates
ending the war and bringing our troops home, let's gather for
what is hopefully our final Iraq war vigil together
R.S.V.P.: Can you attend a vigil this Monday to honor our
troops and help end the war?

Thank-you all so much for signing up to attend the Monday vigil.
I'm really looking forward to meeting/seeing you all. A special
thank-you goes out to Rich Mckay who has volunteered to come and play live
music during the event and to Michael Shields of Java Studios who is
showing the film, I KNOW I AM NOT ALONE....by Michael Franti and Spearhead,
at 8PM - right after the Vigil on the Pier. The film is about his
journey to the war-torn MidEast as a musical ambassador to bring
understanding among the many factions - soldiers, citizens, on all sides. And
lastly to Anne Anthony who will be collecting any letters we wish to write
to our own representative Ileanna Ros- Letinen. Letting her know just
how many people in the keys are against this war, and delivering them to
her aide in Marathon on Tuesday March 20th (I will have extra pens,
paper and envelopes). Please bring your homemade signs if you have them,
candles and matches ( I sure hope this wind dies down....). For those of
you who volunteered to come early and help set up I will be there at
5:30 starting that process. I could also use someone to help clean up
afterwards if anyone else wants to help with that. Again thank-you and see
you on Monday!

Sincerely,
Jacqueline S Morales
